Breakfast is the best meal of the day...fo sho.

Lately, I'm glad to say, I've gotten new "tastes" for breakfast food.
In the past I could seriously run a train on some big, chessey breakfast tacos, pig in the blankets, doughnuts, cheesey ass omelet, or some biscuits and gravy! But as I sit here and think back, all those things were really good while I was eating them, but afterwards I felt like complete shit.
I really think that breakfast sets the pace for the rest of the day. If I eat like crapola for breakfast, I'm probably going to eat like crap for the rest of the day too.
If I get something good and healthy for breakfast, I feel a lot better and it gives me more motivation to keep eating well all day.
Like this morning, I had some old fashioned oats, strawberries, and almond butter. YUM.
And now I feel like a freakin boss after eating that!!
I also like eating egg whites with some salsa, maybe toss that on a whole wheat tortilla.Way better than a greasy bacon, egg, bean, potato, and cheese taco!
From the cleanse, I really started liking hard boiled egg and fruit for breakfast too.
A lot of people drink shakes and smoothies in the mornings, but I'm not really a smoothie person, but I think I could become one. I just need to surf around on Pinterest for some good ones!
This pin is one of the reasons I started thinking about doing smoothies in the mornings...
How genius is this?? Freeze your smoothies in a muffin tin, and then just take a couple the night before, put them in a glass in the fridge over night....and BAM smoothie ready to go in the morning...because let's be real, Fluffy ain't got no time to blend up a damn smoothie in da mornin!
I do think breakfast is important...it is to me anyways!!
